A MTB Race for a Worthy Cause

A fellow bike racer, PSP member, friend and soon to be PSP Sergeant, Joe Ruggery, is doing the 24 hours of 7 Springs Mountain Bike Race, in Champion, PA on August 30th-31st, 2008. He is racing in the solo class, which means he will do the entire 24 hour off-road race alone. Joe is not doing the race to set any course records, or with a goal of necessarily winning the race in mind; instead, he is doing the race to raise funds for another member of PSP, Sgt Tom O’Conner, who has exhausted all of his paid leave since being diagnosed with terminal cancer last year.
